About the Lions Club - Pioneer Days 5K
The course starts on an athletic track behind a campus complex, then winds out through the surrounding streets, past a chiropractic school facility and an education center, loops through a nearby subdivision, and returns the same way it left. The organizers removed the hill that used to be part of the route, so it runs noticeably flatter than before.
Packet pickup and race-morning registration are both available at the Athletic Complex before the start. The finish brings you back to the track where the morning began, and the race supports local Lions Club programs including eyeglasses for those in need and student scholarships.
