The course runs through the vineyard itself, on grass and between the vine rows, so the footing is uneven in places and the surface changes underfoot. It starts and finishes beside the winery. This is not a course you run for a fast time; the ground does not allow for it. Dogs on leashes are welcome out there with you.
Packet pickup happens on race morning only, starting about an hour before the gun. There is a wine pour at the finish.
