About the Level The Playing Field : Run, Walk & Roll 5K
The organization behind this race is working to build recreational space for people with cognitive, developmental, and physical disabilities, and that mission is visible on the course. Runners, walkers, and hand-cyclists share the same start line at an ice rink on a campus drive, and the route loops back to the same spot, keeping everything in one place.
Parking is at the ice rink where the race starts and finishes, so there is no separate lot to hunt down. That shared location makes it easy for spectators to stay put and catch everyone coming through.
