About the Wright Stuff 8K
The race is a tribute to the Wright brothers' first flight, and the course runs alongside College Park Airport, the oldest continuously operating airport in the country. The route is flat, which makes it a solid choice for people chasing a fast time in the winter. Expect a small-club feel, with age group and overall awards handed out at the finish.
The race is put on by the Prince George's Running Club, which also runs a dedicated training program in the weeks leading up to it. Club members get a discount on registration, so it is worth looking into membership before you register.
