About the Let's Move! Macon 5K-Run/Walk
This is a 5K put on by two neighboring churches that share a long common history, organized around a national initiative aimed at healthier communities. The course starts in the heart of Macon, near the churches on New Street. It is open to runners and walkers, and the field tends to reflect that, with people of a wide range of paces and ages showing up.
Age group awards go several places deep, covering brackets from children through older adults, so there is real recognition spread across the field. Registration closes before race day, but walk-up entry is available while supplies last.
