About the Lenexa Freedom Run
The race runs through Old Town Lenexa, a historic district with a small-town main street feel. Both distance options share the same general corridor, so the course has a familiar neighborhood character rather than a trail or park setting. Expect mostly flat pavement and a crowd that includes strollers and all paces.
Packet pickup the evening before is at an activity center in the Old Town area, with a second window on race morning at the same location. Both options are at the same spot, so finding it on either day is straightforward.

The Lenexa Freedom Run has been held every year since at least 2018. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 22, 2026.
