About the Le Run for Le Rouge 2026
The course runs from Detroit City Fieldhouse down Lafayette Street and into Elmwood Cemetery, a historic burial ground that gives the route a distinctive, quieter character than most urban fun runs. It is a fundraiser for a youth soccer program, so the atmosphere skews toward families. Strollers are permitted, though the organizers ask that they start toward the back.
Packet pickup is available at the Fieldhouse on the morning of the race, with options the evening before at other locations. Arrive a little early on race day, as Lafayette Street closes to traffic before the start and parking at the Fieldhouse is limited. The main entrance will be closed; drivers should come in from Mt. Elliott Street via the alley behind the fire station.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Le Run for Le Rouge 2026 has been held every year since at least 2020. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
