About the Laps for Literacy: 5K Library Fun Run
The course runs through Orah Brandt Park, and the race benefits the Nampa Public Library Foundation. It draws a broad mix of people, from those pushing hard to those out for a morning walk, all moving in support of local literacy programs and library resources.
The library's bookmobile is on-site, along with music and a bounce house for younger kids. The park setting keeps everything contained and easy to navigate, and the cause gives the morning a bit more weight than a typical fun run.
