The course runs through Armstrong Park, just north of town on the main highway. It is trail terrain, so expect uneven ground and natural surroundings rather than pavement. A shorter paved fun run shares the morning for anyone not doing the trail distance. Proceeds go to the Vian Community Foundation, which gives the event a local-roots feel without needing to announce it.
