About the Lake Conestee 8k Run/Walk
The course runs through Lake Conestee Nature Park, threading between shaded forest and open wetlands. Underfoot you get soft natural trail, some single-track sections, and wooden boardwalks that carry you over flooded lowlands. The terrain rolls with a moderate climb spread across the route, nothing brutal but enough to make you work.
Packet pickup is at the pavilion shelter before the start, with race morning being the only option. Park near the large pavilion when you arrive. Awards for top finishers go out after everyone is in.

The Lake Conestee 8k Run/Walk has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
