About the Labor Day Triple
The race runs on a paved urban trail at Cady Way Park, an out-and-back loop course that is flat and mostly shaded. You pass the aid station twice each lap, so water, Gatorade, soda, and salty snacks are never far away. The course is open to other trail users, with a couple of street crossings per lap. It is hand-timed, and the courses are not certified.
Bibs are available at the start area before the gun. The start and finish are at a small pavilion where you can leave a drop bag. Parking is at the park itself, with overflow nearby and a school lot across the street. Longer distances start before dawn, so a light is worth packing. Ice is on hand for cooling, along with pickles and pickle juice for the heat.
