About the Holiday Five
The course runs on the Cady Way Trail, a paved urban bike and run path that is flat and partly shaded. Each lap is an out-and-back, so you pass the start area and the aid station regularly throughout your race. The trail stays open to the public, meaning you share it with cyclists and walkers throughout the morning.
Bibs are available at the start location beginning about three-quarters of an hour before the gun. The aid station is at the same pavilion as the start and finish, stocked with water, Gatorade, sodas, and light snacks including pickles and pickle juice. This is a cupless race, so bring a bottle or hydration pack. Parking is right at the trailhead, and you pass your car on every lap.
