About the Kristen's Krew 5K
The course runs along a paved greenway through the Moss Creek community, passing wetland areas along a river. It starts and finishes at a middle school, with the greenway portion giving way to neighborhood streets on parts of the loop. The surface is smooth throughout, and the route is open to any pace with no cutoff.
The race is tied to a weekend of events honoring Kristen McCartney, a young woman from the area who lived fully despite a serious epilepsy diagnosis. The scholarship her family created supports female high school students pursuing college, and entry fees go directly toward that fund.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Kristen's Krew 5K has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
