About the 2026 Veterans Salute 5K and 10K

The race starts on McCachern Boulevard in downtown Concord, beside a county parking lot. The shorter route heads toward Corban Avenue and threads through downtown streets before picking up a greenway connector back to the finish. The longer route pushes out into residential neighborhoods, climbs and turns through several streets, then loops back through downtown to the same finish.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a recreation center on Burrage Road. On race morning, pickup opens in the county parking lot right at the start. Several parking options sit nearby, including two county structures and a city garage within walking distance of the start line. After the race, a kids' zone with inflatables and a Humvee from the Army National Guard fills the finish area.
