The course is in Kennesaw, put on by alumni connected to the local university's athletic fund. The organizing group is a nonprofit committee of graduates whose focus is supporting student-athletes, so the crowd tends to skew toward fans of the school and people with some tie to the program. Expect families and local business folks alongside runners.
