The course runs on a cross-country trail on school grounds, which gives it a natural, uneven feel underfoot. It is a true trail race rather than a road run, with the kind of footing you expect from a course built for cross-country runners. Water is at the start and finish area, and prize money goes to the top finishers in each gender category.
