About the Kindness Matters 5k and Walk

The course runs around a college campus, passing through the kind of open grounds you find at a residential school. The route is organized by a student service fraternity, and the atmosphere on race day reflects that: volunteers from the campus community are out along the course, and the whole thing has the feel of a group that put real effort into the day.

After the run there are crafts, games, and snacks on the lawn where the race starts and finishes. Packet pickup closes before the gun goes off, so plan to arrive with time to spare.
