About the KID-FIT Family Fun Run 5K & 1K - All Ages
The course runs around Legg Lake at Whittier Narrows, a flat loop on paved and trail surface through open parkland. Cash prizes go to top youth age group finishers, and there is a shorter kids' distance alongside the main event, so the field tends to spread across a wide range of ages and speeds.
Packet pickup is available the evening before the race at a running store in Pasadena, with race-morning pickup also on the table. Parking at the lake requires a fee paid at the lot. New registrations can be handled on race day, paid by cash or completed online before the morning cutoff.
