About the Kailua 10-Miler & 5K
Both distances start in front of a school and finish at Kailua District Park, so the route is point-to-point rather than a loop. The longer course passes through Enchanted Lake, where public restrooms sit mid-route. The roads feel suburban and open, with a few aid stations spread across the course for the longer distance.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local bike shop on Kuulei Road, which faces a municipal lot reachable from a couple of nearby streets. Race-morning pickup opens at the park well before the start. Parking at the park itself is limited, but the library nearby and several public lots within walking distance fill the gap. Water and refreshments are out after you finish.
