About the K9s United 9k For K9s
The race is held at a corporate headquarters complex and offers several distance options, from a short fun run up through a chip-timed 9k. The 9k is described as the more challenging option, which suggests some variety in the terrain. After the running is done, there is a K9 demonstration on site, plus kids activities and a photo booth where you can meet working police dogs in person.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the race location itself, which makes the morning easier. Day-of pickup is also available before the start. Parking is managed by volunteers who direct runners across several lots as each one fills, so arriving early saves you the walk from the overflow areas.
