About the Jungle Jog 5k
The course starts in Seneca Park and routes through the Seneca Park Zoo before finishing back in the park near Wegman Lodge and Trout Lake. Running through a working zoo is genuinely unusual, and the surroundings feel nothing like a typical road race. A guided warm-up at the start and a kids' run afterward give the morning a full-day-at-the-park feel.
Parking at Seneca Park is limited, and the entrance closes at the start of the warm-up, so arriving early matters. Packet pickup is available at the zoo the week before the race and at a local running store in the days before. There is no race-morning registration, so sort out your bib ahead of time.
