About the John Samra Memorial 5K Run & 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
The race starts and finishes in front of City Hall on Clifton Ave, which puts the finish line right where spectators naturally gather. The course is certified, so the distance is measured properly. Age group awards go deep into the field, with several brackets covering a wide spread from young runners through older age groups.
Packet pickup is available the two days before the race at the PBA Barn at City Hall, and again on race morning before the start. Refreshments are out after the race finishes.

The John Samra Memorial 5K Run & 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk has been held every year since at least 2013. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
