About the Joggin for the Noggin Saturday September 26th 2026

The race starts and finishes on Commercial Street in front of a former riverfront restaurant, right along the river walk. The course runs through Atchison, and the whole thing benefits a local scholarship fund established in memory of a community member, which gives the morning a genuine purpose beyond just getting miles in.

Stick around after you finish. Pancakes and cupcakes come out shortly after the lead runners cross the line, and there are arts and crafts activities for kids near the start area at the river walk and veterans memorial park alongside.
