About the Amelia Earhart Fun Run/Walk

The race runs through Atchison as part of the city's Amelia Earhart Festival, so there is already a crowd out when you start. The longer option has real hills that tell you something about your fitness. The shorter option is mostly flat with one climb and one descent. The course is not closed to traffic, so expect to share the road.

Both distances start and finish at the local YMCA. After you finish, the festival grounds are nearby, with plenty going on for anyone who came with family.
