Dansville, NY
The Jingle Bells 5k runs through Dansville, and costumes are part of the deal. Holiday gear is encouraged, so expect to see a fair amount of festive outfits on the course alongside people who just showed up to run.
Afterward, the Community Center hosts a post-race breakfast, which gives the morning a natural gathering point. It is a good reason not to bolt for your car the moment you cross the finish.
