About the Jingle Bell Beach Run
The course runs along Ali'i Drive, the waterfront road known for its history with elite triathletes, starting and finishing at the Coconut Grove Marketplace in the heart of Kailua Kona. This is a beach-town holiday race, and the setting makes it feel like one: ocean to one side, Christmas week on the calendar.
A costume contest is part of the morning, which shapes the crowd you will find at the start. The Coconut Grove Marketplace is a natural gathering spot, and the finish area picks up the energy of that.
