About the Java Jog 5K/10K - Dawsonville
The course runs along Rock Creek, where cold mornings are common and sunrise tends to show up right on cue. The route is flat and fast, and the certified course means your time is legit. Runners can take on one distance or double up with both for the Espresso Challenge, a back-to-back option that draws its own awards.
Race-morning check-in opens well before the first wave goes off. If you prefer to skip the morning rush, there is an early pickup option the evening before at a local pizza spot in Dawsonville.
