About the Jail Break 5K

The course starts at the Old Jail in uptown Saint Augustine and heads through Magnolia Avenue before crossing the Vilano Bridge out toward the Atlantic. It is a point-to-point route, so shuttles bring everyone back to the start when they are done. The bridge crossing is the highlight, open sky over the water before you reach the ocean side.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a welcome center on Ponce De Leon Boulevard, with race-morning pickup available at the Old Jail itself. Several parking lots nearby on San Marco Avenue and surrounding streets are free, though the Old Jail lot closes to make room for the post-race party, which includes food trucks, vendors, photo booths, and a costume contest with cash prizes.
