About the Ithaca 5&10 - 5K & 10K Road Races

The course runs a flat road loop through the Fall Creek neighborhood, beginning and ending at Ithaca High School. The terrain is clean pavement the whole way, and the 10K is simply the same loop run twice. A chip-timed setup makes it a solid option for anyone chasing a personal best on an honest, uncluttered route.

The high school serves as the central hub for the morning, so parking, the start, and the finish are all in the same spot. A kids' fun run runs alongside the main races, which tends to draw families and gives the start area a busy, unhurried energy before the longer distances go off.
