About the Humane Society of Erie County 5K Run/Walk

The course runs through downtown Sandusky, starting and finishing at a brewery near Battery Park. It is a road course, so expect pavement the whole way. The start area sits just north of the city building, close to the waterfront edge of downtown. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome, which tends to shape the mood of the crowd.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at Bait House Brewery, the same spot where the post-race gathering happens. Raffles and a split-the-pot drawing go on throughout the morning there. Parking is available in the Battery Park lot at the start.
