About the HSS Greenwich Half Marathon
The course runs along the waterfront at Greenwich Point Park, with Long Island Sound visible for much of the way. The terrain is road, and the route is described as fast, which matches the open, flat character of a coastal park setting. Dogs are not allowed in the park during the event, worth knowing if you were planning to bring one.
Race-morning pickup happens at the park before the start. Parking is available on site, though carpooling is encouraged. Post-race, there are snacks and refreshments in a grab-and-go format. Age group awards go several divisions deep, including a non-binary division.
