About the HRCA Wildcat Mountain Trail Races
The course runs entirely on dirt trails through the HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area, starting from a middle school trailhead and heading out into the Wildcat Mountain trails. The terrain rolls through open country with mountain views, and wildlife sightings are realistic out there. Trails are mostly single track, so expect narrow paths and natural footing the whole way.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at an office location in Littleton, with race-morning pickup also available at the trailhead starting area. Parking at the school is free but can fill up, so carpooling is worth considering. Restrooms are on-site at the south end of the school. Pancakes from a local vendor and post-race beers are at the finish.

The HRCA Wildcat Mountain Trail Races has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
