About the Platte River Half-Marathon, Relay & 5k

The course runs along the Platte River Trail, so the path underfoot is smooth and the surroundings stay open the whole way out. The route is flat with the river close by, and the scenery holds up for the full distance rather than petering out once you leave the start area.

The race starts and finishes near Breckenridge Brewery, and the post-race scene there is real: food, vendors, and live music in addition to beer. The brewery campus gives the start area a concrete anchor that is easy to find.
