About the Hope Hustle 5K- Running Toward Brighter Futures
The race takes place at a venue off a state highway in Grand Prairie, with food trucks, a DJ, and vendors set up around the finish area. The course is a straightforward route through the surrounding area, and the post-finish scene has more going on than most local races.
Packet pickup happens the evening before and again on race morning at the same venue. The start area is behind a restaurant complex, so there is a real gathering spot before the gun goes off. Aid station volunteers are out on the course, and course monitors keep runners pointed the right direction.
