About the Hope 4 The Homeless 5K Supporting Sojourners' Place
This is a benefit race for Sojourners' Place, a Wilmington shelter focused on housing stability and addiction recovery. The course runs through Rockford Park, starting near the Clock Tower at the Lookout Drive entrance. The surroundings are wooded and open, the kind of park that makes a morning run feel unhurried even when the cause behind it carries weight.
Bibs are available race morning at the Clock Tower before the start, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before. The start area is right there at the park, which keeps the morning simple.
