About the Hooters River, Roots & Ruts Trail Run

The course runs through Caloosahatchee Regional Park and uses both sides of it. The south side opens up on wide nature trails, while the north side tightens into single-track mountain bike paths with roots and ruts underfoot. The terrain is honest Florida trail running, technical enough to demand attention, and not the kind of course you run for a personal best.

Packet pickup is available the day before at a Hooters restaurant in Fort Myers, or on race morning at the park pavilion starting well before the gun. There is no race-day registration, so you need to be signed up ahead of time. The pavilion serves as the gathering point before the start.
