About the Home Alone 5K

The Home Alone 5K runs an evening course along the Pharr Hike and Bike Trail, so the path is paved and relatively flat. Runners and walkers are encouraged to come in Christmas costumes or Home Alone-themed gear, which makes the field look more like a holiday parade than a race. The event doubles as a toy drive, so bringing an unwrapped toy is part of the tradition.

Packet pickup happens at Blessings Homestore on North Raul Longoria in San Juan, on the two days leading up to the race. The start goes off in the evening, so plan accordingly if you are driving over after work.
