About the Holy Smokin' Jamboree 5K Run
The race starts after a short children's run wraps up, so the energy around the start area is already warm by the time the main field goes off. The course is a 5K, and the morning has the feel of a neighborhood event built around more than just the race itself. A pancake breakfast runs alongside everything, donation-based, open to whoever shows up.
Awards happen at a ceremony later that morning, and you need to be there in person to collect. Packet pickup and same-day registration both open before the start, so showing up without pre-registering is an option.
