About the Holiday Bridge Challenge 5K
The course follows the Halifax River through Ormond Beach, crossing the Granada Bridge for open water views. Along the way you pass Fortunato Park and the Casements, a historic winter home that sits right on the river. There is real elevation on the bridge, so this is not a flat morning, but the climb is brief and the scenery makes it easy to forget.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Ormond Beach Family YMCA, with race-morning pickup available starting well before the gun. The start and check-in are both in front of Ormond City Hall. There is a post-race awards ceremony, and refreshments are out after you finish.

The Holiday Bridge Challenge 5K has been held every year since at least 2014. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
