About the Hip-Hop Turkey Trot

The course runs through Soundview Park, part of the Bronx River Greenway. It is a natural habitat park, so the surroundings feel green and open rather than urban, even though you are well inside the city. The route is short enough that most people treat it as a warm-up for the afternoon ahead.

Packet pickup and registration both happen on race morning, so there is no need to come out the day before. Public parking is available at the park, and bag check is on site. The start area has warm-up and cool-down space on an open lawn, and park restrooms are open.
