About the Hillbilly Hike Half Marathon, 10k, & Greubel Memorial 5k
The half marathon runs point-to-point from a neighboring town into Carlisle, starting with a gentle downhill and then settling into flat road through oak forest before reaching town. The 10k also runs point-to-point, beginning inside a state park. The 5k starts near a trailhead closer to the finish. Buses carry runners to whichever start line they need.
Parking is at Carlisle High School and a couple of nearby lots. Bag drop is handled at each start line by volunteers who write your bib number on your bag and transport it to the finish, sorted by number. At the finish, expect pie, biscuits and gravy, and chocolate milk alongside a PR bell and a photo booth.
