About the Heroes for Hope 5K
The race starts and finishes inside Cave City Park, which keeps the course close to a central gathering point. Participants are encouraged to show up in costume as their favorite heroes, so the start line tends to look more like a neighborhood block party than a typical race morning. The event supports foster care, local law enforcement, and families in the area.
Race-day packet pickup opens at the park well before the start, and registration is also available that morning for a short window after pickup begins. Parking is on a grassy lot just across from the park. The race goes on through light rain; only severe weather would cause a delay or cancellation.
