About the Cave City Holiday Parade 2 Mile
The course starts at the middle school and heads out along a closed stretch of highway, where parade crowds already line the street waiting for the Christmas parade that follows. Runners lead the way before the floats roll. The route turns off the highway and winds through quieter back streets to finish near where it began.
Several parking areas surround the middle school and elementary school, including gravel lots and a spot off Terrie Street. After finishing, runners are invited to a party back at the middle school, and there are cookies at the finish.
