About the Heroes and Villains Half Marathon - Little Rock
The race starts at River Front Park, which puts the course along the waterfront. Bigfoot Running Company runs the event with a costume theme baked into the morning: runners pick a side, hero or villain, and many show up dressed for it. A costume contest kicks things off before the first wave, so there is already a crowd and a DJ working before anyone runs a step.
Packet pickup opens early on race morning at the start area. The Race Rally Tent near the finish line has snacks and drinks afterward, and the awards and DJ set continue well past the last finisher.
