About the Heritage Hustle: 15K, 10K, & 5K
Heritage Park's trails wind around a lake, so water views show up throughout the route. The course runs on spacious trail ways rather than roads, which gives it a different feel from a typical street race. Several distance options mean you can pick the effort that fits your day, and the spring timing makes it a natural early-season tune-up.
There is no parking at the venue itself. Runners park at one of two nearby schools on race morning and ride a complimentary shuttle to the start, which takes a good chunk of time, so plan to arrive early. Packet pickup runs at a separate activity center in Shawnee on the two days before the race, with race-morning pickup available at the marina.
