About the Heritage Days Fall 5K & 5 Mile
The course runs on paved trails and rural country roads out of New Richmond, with the shorter distance going out and back and the longer one looping back a different way. Terrain is mixed between path and road, and orange arrows plus course marshals guide the turns. Police cover the major intersections.
The race starts and finishes at the Heritage Center, which is hosting a full festival the same morning. A farmers market, flea market, petting zoo, and stagecoach rides are all going on nearby, so there is plenty of reason to stay after you finish. Packet pickup is available the evening before at a spaghetti dinner, with a race-morning option as well.
