About the Willow River Run
The course runs out and back from Mary Park, through neighborhood roads and out toward Fox Run, depending on which distance you choose. It is flat the whole way, with orange cones, painted road markings, and corner marshals keeping you oriented. The route shares the same start and finish for both distances, so spectators stay put and the crowds are familiar faces by the time you come back in.
Packet pickup is offered the evening before at the New Richmond Community Library, with a second window early on race morning at the park pavilion. A coffee truck is on hand for anyone waiting around before the start. Water and snacks are set up at the finish, and bathroom facilities are available in the park.
