About the Heritage Classical Academy 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The course runs at a venue called The Gospel, on grass in a cross-country style. It is not a road race, so expect soft footing and a more open feel than a typical pavement 5K. The shorter distance is meant for walkers and runners alike, while the longer route draws people looking for a bit more of a challenge.
Packet pickup runs the day before the race at a local church, with a second window available race morning at the start venue. The race benefits a small classical Christian school that is working to expand its grades, so the crowd skews toward families connected to that community.
