About the Henry's Thanksgiving Day Hustle 5K & 1/2 Mile Kids Dash
This is a Thanksgiving morning race that benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association, run in memory of a friend named Henry Betts. The course starts and finishes at a middle school, launching from the back of the building. There is a kids dash as well, and the post-race party brings a DJ, Thanksgiving-themed food, coffee, and stretching led by a physical therapy group.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a heating and cooling business in a neighboring town, with race-morning pickup available in the school gym. Parking is in the front lot, and runners walk through the building to reach the start on the west side. Overflow parking spills into a nearby subdivision, so arriving early helps.
