About the Hendersonville's 14th Annual Turkey Trot 5k
The course starts in front of City Hall and heads down Main Street before picking up the Ecusta Trail, then loops back to finish where it began. The pavement transitions to trail and back, so the underfoot surface changes mid-run. Costumes are a big part of the morning, with prizes for best individual, group, and pet costume alongside the usual top-finisher awards.
Packet pickup runs at the Hope Coalition Youth Connection Center on Justice Street in the days before the race, with a race-morning window as well. The blue building has parking in the back; the yellow door is the one to use. Unclaimed packets may be sold off after the gun goes.
